Cervical spondylosis includes many types, and the manifestations of each type are different, as follows: 1. Nerve root type cervical spondylosis, the main manifestation of which is numbness and weakness of the upper limbs due to nerve root compression, and does not lead to generalized weakness. 2. Vertebral artery type cervical spondylosis, the main manifestation of which is dizziness aggravated by head turning activities, and does not lead to generalized weakness. 3. Esophageal type cervical spondylosis, the main manifestation of which is herniated discs compressing the esophagus and causing difficulty in swallowing. 4.Sympathetic cervical spondylosis is a series of syndromes caused by sympathetic nerve excitation due to stimulation of the sympathetic stem for various reasons, which does not lead to weakness of the limbs. 5.Spinal cervical spondylosis is a condition in which the main disc protrudes backward and compresses the spinal cord, causing neurological symptoms, such as weakness of the hands and feet, tightness of the lower limbs, unstable walking, inability to walk fast, poor hand grip, numbness of the limbs, and walking like stepping on cotton. Therefore, this type of cervical spondylosis can lead to general weakness.
