How long does it take for a boil to mature before it has to flow naturally?

Boils mature at different times depending on the individual and do not have to flow out naturally, but are usually treated appropriately by a doctor. Boils are bacterial infections that occur in the hair follicle area. They start out as small red bumps and gradually grow larger, invade the skin, and have the typical red, swollen, hot, and painful manifestations. When a boil matures, it will feel wavy when you press it with your hand, which means that the internal pus has already formed. The time to maturity varies depending on the person and the time of onset, but generally the time between infection and suppuration is about 3-5 days, and in some cases it takes about 7 days. When a boil matures, it should be treated by a doctor by making an incision to drain the pus, or by giving an injection to draw out the pus, followed by anti-inflammatory medication to avoid skin infection. When a boil grows, patients must not squeeze or scratch it with their hands, so as not to squeeze the surrounding tissues and cause the inflammation to spread. During the recovery period, you should maintain a light diet and keep the wound surface clean, pay attention to rest and avoid staying up late.
