What is tinnitus in children’s ears?

Tinnitus in children may be caused by the following reasons: 1) Tinnitus induced by earwax or a foreign body in the ear canal. 2) Tinnitus induced by secretory otitis media in some patients, which may be accompanied by ear pain, hearing loss, stuffy ear and other related discomfort. The clinical examination may show symptoms such as tympanic membrane invagination, tympanic chamber effusion, etc. The acoustic conduction test mostly shows a B-type or C-type curve. After clinical treatment with anti-inflammatory and oral mucus promoter medications, the tinnitus disappears. 3. Some children have large vestibular conductor syndrome, which can develop at the age of about 2 years and is accompanied by significant hearing loss in addition to tinnitus. The cause of this syndrome may be a cold or trauma to the head, which can be detected by clinical improvement of ear CT or MRI.
