How to use fever reducers correctly?

  If your baby has a high fever, you should use antipyretic drugs promptly and effectively to control the body temperature in a safe range, especially for small babies, a persistent high fever may induce a febrile convulsion, which is still more dangerous.  The general indication for the use of antipyretic drugs is a body temperature of more than 38.5 ℃, if the baby has a history of febrile convulsions, in order to avoid another attack of convulsions, drug cooling indications to be relaxed to 38 ℃, that is, the baby’s body temperature exceeds 38 ℃, we have to take oral medication.  The fever-reducing medication for small babies is usually applied to ibuprofen or acetaminophen, and the dosage should be based on the baby’s age and weight, preferably under the guidance of a doctor, with at least 4-6 hours between doses of fever-reducing medication.
