Men’s unspeakable secrets – prostatitis

Prostatitis is one of the most common inflammatory diseases in urology, and it is estimated that 25% of patients go to the clinic each year with problems in the genitourinary tract. The most common clinical manifestations of prostatitis are: 1. Acute bacterial prostatitis: symptoms are obvious, sudden onset, high fever and chills, painful urination, pain in the perineum. This is followed by inflammatory discharge from the urethra and sometimes difficulty urinating or acute urinary retention. 2, chronic bacterial prostatitis: symptoms are not obvious, there may only be signs of urinary irritation and different parts of the pain or discomfort, such as painful urination, frequent urination, urinary urgency, difficulty in urination, perineal, lumbosacral, scrotal and penile discomfort and pain, heavy back pain, perineal and testicular radiating pain, urethral “dripping white”, sexual dysfunction, neurosis. The most important thing is that you will be able to get the best out of the situation. The actual fact is that there is no recurring urinary tract infection and often prostatic fluid overflowing from the urethra. In some young and middle-aged men there is typical pelvic perineal pain (prostatodynia) accompanied by various different signs and symptoms such as abnormal urine flow, irritative voiding disorder, perineal and lumbosacral pain, etc. 4, prostatodynia: the main manifestation is pelvic floor tension pain, of which perineal pain accounts for 76%, ejaculatory pain accounts for 56%, suprapubic discomfort accounts for 55%, penile pain accounts for 44%, testicular pain 35%, and lumbar pain accounts for 17%. Another major symptom, in which post-urinary dribbling accounted for 35%, hesitant urination accounted for 26%, feeling tight accounted for 23%, and straining to urinate accounted for 17%, and some patients may also present intermittent “pulsatile urination”. The mental and emotional changes that are evident in cases of prostate pain are called “stress prostatitis”.
