What are the characteristics of the diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases of the lung?

Infectious diseases of the lung include community-acquired pneumonia, hospital-acquired pneumonia, healthcare-associated pneumonia, bronchiectasis with infection and lung abscess. The pathogens that cause lung infections include bacteria, fungi, viruses, Mycoplasma pneumoniae, Legionella, Chlamydia pneumoniae and parasites. In recent years, with the increase of people with low immunity, the emergence of drug-resistant bacteria and even “superbugs”, the increase of lung infections caused by fungi and viruses, and the increase of severe lung infections, the diagnosis and treatment of lung infections have become more and more difficult, and the morbidity and mortality rates and treatment costs have become higher. 1, long-term tracking of the common pathogens of various lung infections at home and abroad and the trend of changes in susceptibility to antibacterial drugs, familiar with the antibacterial spectrum of various drugs, antibacterial strength, pharmacokinetic characteristics and possible adverse reactions, so that the initial empirical selection of antimicrobial agents more reasonable, more “targeted”, higher success rate of cure. Both the “first battle success” ratio is higher. 2, pay attention to the etiological diagnosis of lung infection, so that the use of antibacterial drugs from “empirical” selection, as soon as possible to “targeted” use. In addition to routine blood and sputum bacteriological examination, our department has carried out a lot of new work in pathogenic diagnosis, which has played an important role in pathogenic diagnosis. These include quantitative bacterial culture for the following respiratory brush samples, G test and GM test for fungal infections, Legionella antibody test, mycoplasma antigen and antibody test, influenza virus test, and pathological examination. These pathogenic diagnostic methods carried out by our department have made the use of antibacterial drugs more “targeted” and saved the lives of many patients with critical lung infections and cured many cases of rare pathogenic bacterial infections. 3.The results have saved the lives of many patients with severe pulmonary infections and rare pathogenic infections, such as severe Staphylococcus aureus pneumonia combined with multi-organ failure, ventilator-associated pneumonia, multiple myeloma combined with severe pulmonary Candida infection, severe Aspergillus pneumonia, Pneumocystis pneumonia, Cryptococcus pneumonia, severe Legionella pneumonia, Mycoplasma pneumonia, etc. Director Wen Zhongguang reported the first cure of severe Trichophyton pneumonia in China. Mycobacterium pneumonia. In recent years, he has successfully treated many patients with severe lung infections after bone marrow transplantation, after radiation and chemotherapy for malignant tumors, after glucocorticoid and immunosuppressive drug treatment for immune rheumatism, and after hormone treatment for nephrotic syndrome. Some of these cases have been highly praised by domestic and foreign experts. 4. Some work has been carried out in the prevention of pulmonary infections, such as the use of bacterial lysates, the study of nano antibacterial materials, the effect of piperacillin/tazobactam replacement of third and fourth generation cephalosporins on ESBLs producing bacteria and the study of pulmonary immune mechanism, and the relevant papers were published in foreign SCI journals.
