Natural birth pain reduction method – breathing method

The standard training procedure of the Ramez breathing method has several stages. However, the simple method is as follows. Even if you are already clinical, it is not too late to learn it temporarily. First, the simple method: when contractions start, deep inhalation, slowly exhale; contraction peak, pain is more obvious, faster exhalation, suction change of air method; after going to the delivery bed, hold your breath to exert the method is deep inhalation, try to hold it, in between you can change your breath, the best a contraction, you can change your breath 1 ow, exert longer; when the fetus is coming out, change to the method of blowing a candle, beeping your mouth, blowing the air out slowly to avoid the fetus spray well-like out. Hand force posture, elbow bending, as if lifting water, do not shrug your shoulders, light flexion of the elbow joint, force to lift the water, then you will feel the power at the anus. Some women use their strength on their shoulders and neck, but their strength does not reach the perineum, so they will not push. When you go to the delivery bed, do three things. First, keep your buttocks to the bed, do not lift them up and do not swing them from side to side. Secondly, separate your two thighs hard, the fetus can’t come out if you clench them. Secondly, manage your breathing, in the same way as above. Second, the standard method: Start the training of the Lamez breathing method in the 7th month of pregnancy, accompanied by your husband for better results. Basic posture Spread a blanket on the floor or practice on the bed, play some beautiful fetal music, the mother-to-be can choose to sit cross-legged, in the sound of the music, the mother-to-be first let her body completely relaxed, eyes gazing at the same point. Stage 1 DD chest breathing At the beginning of labor (cervical opening of about 3 cm), contractions occur every 5-10 minutes and each contraction is about 20-30 seconds long. The mother-to-be takes a deep breath in by her nose, starts to inhale and exhale with the contraction, and repeats until the contraction stops before resuming normal breathing. Stage 2 DD hip light breathing method Apply when the baby is turning on one side; slowly coming down from the birth canal on the other side z before the opening of the uterus 7 cm, contractions every 2 to 4 minutes during this period, each lasting about 45 to 60 seconds {. When the uterus starts contracting, use chest deep breathing; when the uterus is contracting strongly, use shallow breathing method and resume deep breathing when the contraction starts to slow down. Exercise: First allow your body to relax completely with your eyes gazing at the same point. Inhale a small breath of air through your mouth, keep breathing lightly and shallowly, so that the amount of air inhaled and exhaled is equal, and breathe completely through your mouth, keeping your breath high in your throat, like making a “hee hee” sound. When the uterus is contracting strongly, you need to breathe faster, and vice versa, you need to slow down. Note that the amount of exhalation should be the same as the amount of inhalation. Practice from a continuous 20 seconds slowly increase, until a breathing exercise can reach 60 seconds. The third stage of DD gasping breathing method, from 7cm of the uterus to the fetal head emerging from the vaginal opening (the end of the first stage of labor and most of the second stage of labor), the mother-to-be feels the uterus contracting every 30-40 seconds, which is the most intense and difficult to control stage of labor. The mother-to-be takes a deep breath in, followed by 4 to 6 short exhalations, which feel like blowing up a balloon, and are more shallow than hip-hop breathing, and the speed can be adjusted according to the degree of uterine contractions. Practice from a breathing exercise lasts 45 seconds slowly lengthened to a breathing exercise can reach 90 seconds. During the last stage of the second stage of labor, the mother wants to push the baby out of the birth canal, but the physician asks not to push at this time to avoid vaginal tearing. At the beginning of the labor, the mother-to-be takes a deep breath, followed by a short but strong breath, such as shallow exhalation 1, 2, 3, 4, and then exhales all the “breath” greatly, as if she is blowing something very strenuous (the nurses in the labor room of the Armed Forces Hospital call the mother “blowing candles”). The mother-to-be learns to breathe rapidly and continuously in a gasping manner as if she were breathing in and out until she doesn’t want to exert herself, which takes up to 90 seconds each time she practices. Stage 5 – Push hard When there is no contraction, hold your breath and push hard, with the mother-to-be’s chin pulled forward and her head slightly raised, pushing hard to make the air in the lungs press down into the abdomen and completely relax the pelvic muscles. When it is necessary to change the air, keep the original position, exhale the air immediately and at the same time take in a full breath immediately, continue to hold the air and push until the baby is delivered slowly. When the head is out of the birth canal, the mother can use short breaths to relieve the pain. Each practice should last at least 60 seconds. Tips for practicing Lamez breathing 1. At the beginning of the contraction: Start with 4 “hee” and 1 “hoo” breaths regularly. 2.When the contraction of the uterus gradually reaches its peak: breathe with about one “breath” per second. 3.When the contraction gradually decreases: return to the breathing pattern of 4 “hip” and 1 “exhale”. 4. At the end of the contraction: take a chest breath, inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth. If you want to use the Lamez breathing method better during labor, you should practice it carefully so that you can apply it skillfully during labor. Do not wait until just before delivery to rush to class. In this case, once you are on the delivery bed, you will be less effective because you are not skilled in the method.
