High blood uric acid leads to toe gout, the treatment can use anti-inflammatory and analgesic drugs, uric acid-lowering drugs, surgical treatment and so on.
1. Anti-inflammatory and analgesic drugs: when acute gouty arthritis occurs, colchicine, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (such as diclofenac, etc.), glucocorticosteroids (such as methylprednisolone, etc.) and other drugs can be used for anti-inflammatory and analgesic treatment. Among these drugs, colchicine and NSAIDs are the first-line drugs for the treatment of acute gouty arthritis and can be used in the early stage.
2. For chronic gout, uric acid-lowering drugs (e.g. allopurinol, febuxostat, etc.) can be chosen for treatment, along with dietary control, limiting alcohol consumption and intake of high-purine foods.
3. For gout with gout stones, surgical treatment is also feasible when necessary to remove the gout stones and correct the damaged joints.
