Repeated punctures of the femoral artery cause rupture or erosion of the vessel wall, and a pseudoaneurysm is formed under the wrapping of peripheral tissues, and the patient often shows pain and swelling. Because of repeated cross-use of syringes, such patients are often combined with infectious diseases such as hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and even HIV, so the health care workers who receive them are extra careful.
