Cirrhosis to ascites need to be alert to the four symptoms

With the improvement of people’s living standard and the increase of life pressure, the liver is under tremendous pressure due to too fine eating habits, staying up late and drinking and other bad habits. The liver is the main metabolic organ of the body, and liver diseases caused by various reasons have become one of the main killers threatening people’s health. However, most liver diseases do not have very typical symptoms in their early stages, while the appearance of cirrhosis is one of the warning signs of a serious condition. When cirrhosis turns into liver ascites, it means the condition takes a sharp turn and enters a crisis stage. The development of hepatitis B, alcoholic liver and fatty liver will cause cirrhosis at a certain level. Liver damage to a certain extent will cause excessive proliferation of liver fibrous tissue, and the situation will be serious enough to cause cirrhosis. Early stage cirrhosis is more likely to take a “silent” attitude, and most of them are compensatory, and can be effectively treated with relevant antiviral treatment. Most advanced cirrhosis has entered the decompensated stage, accompanied by jaundice, cirrhosis ascites and other obvious symptoms, treatment is more difficult. So how to distinguish cirrhosis has begun to transform into liver ascites? Patients need to be alert to the following four major symptoms: 1. Swelling of the lower limbs. Ascites, generally about 50 ml, is originally a normal physiological phenomenon that exists in the human body and has a lubricating effect. Usually, early liver ascites is difficult to be discovered by patients themselves, and is ignored because of the small amount and the lack of obvious symptoms. With the deepening of the disease, the fluid in the abdominal cavity gradually increases, and a large amount of accumulation will cause the patient’s abdominal circumference to increase and appear swelling of the lower limbs and other symptoms. 2.Decrease in urine. After cirrhosis turns to liver ascites reaches a certain degree, it will produce pressure on the kidneys and appear the phenomenon of urine reduction, and in serious cases even damage the kidney function, causing a series of adverse effects. 3. Distended abdominal feeling is obvious. Most of the advanced cirrhosis has entered the decompensated stage, abdominal distension becomes one of the significant symptoms that can be felt, and when there is a high degree of abdominal distension, it indicates that cirrhosis has turned into liver ascites. It can cause difficulty in breathing and affect sleep, especially at night, when the symptoms are aggravated, making it difficult to sleep all night. 4, accompanied by low fever. Hypothermia is a more typical and common phenomenon issued by hepatic ascites, which is usually difficult to control by itself, while the symptoms of increased neutrophils can also be found upon examination, but also accompanied by hyponatremia, hypokalemia and hypoglycemia, but the general treatment cannot be relieved. 5. Nausea and vomiting. When cirrhosis is transformed into hepatic ascites in the late stage, the metabolic function of the liver has been seriously reduced, affecting the normal operation of the digestive system and poor tolerance of fat and protein, showing epigastric discomfort and fullness, nausea and even vomiting. 6. Mental abnormalities. Liver ascites often means that the development of liver disease to a more dangerous degree, the patient in addition to physical discomfort, but also the phenomenon of mental abnormalities, manifested as mental anomaly, emotional agitation, incoherent speech, impaired computing ability lights. Severe cases can lead to hepatic coma. For patients with cirrhosis, in addition to drug treatment must do a good job of daily health care to prevent aggravation of liver damage and induce liver ascites. At the same time, we should be alert to the signs that cirrhosis may be transformed into liver ascites, grasp in advance, control the development of cirrhosis and carry out timely and active treatment to help slow down the liver disease lesions.
