What are the signs of anal eczema?

Anal eczema, is a common anal skin condition. The lesions are mostly limited to the anal and perianal skin and may occasionally extend to the perineum and genitalia. The lesions are moist and borderline. It can occur at any age, and the skin in and around the anus becomes thickened and infiltrated, resulting in rupture and itching. Clinical manifestations: Initially, the anal skin is flushed, warm, and swollen, with variable size and unclear boundaries. It then spreads to the healthy anal skin, followed by the appearance of scattered or dense, rice-grain-sized papules on the flushed and healthy skin, the number of which is variable. If the inflammation continues to progress, the papules become papules or blisters. The patient feels itchy and scratches. Causes: The causes of this disease are complex and not yet clear, but are related to the following factors: 1. allergic reactions: such as dietary allergies, allergies to fish, shrimp, crab, eggs; allergies to focal secretions irritation, such as hemorrhoids, anal fissures, prolapse and other common perianal diseases. 2, indigestion: gastrointestinal diseases, intestinal parasites, metabolic disorders, etc. 3, mental neurological dysfunction: such as excessive fatigue, mental tension, depression, insomnia, etc. Local manifestations: localized papules of various stages, moist skin erosion, scratch marks, scabs, burs, scales, crusts, etc. formed after oozing and drying. In the chronic phase, edema, inflammation is reduced, localized dryness, brownish red or gray skin, and thickened skin with infiltration. Features: 1. Itchy perianal skin, which may extend to the perineum and scrotum. 2. Initially, the skin is flushed, and three kinds or dense rice-grain-sized papules are seen on it. 3.In the late stage of the disease, the skin around the anus becomes thickened, so that it is accompanied by chaps. 4. The disease has a long course and can be seen at any age. Treatment: 1. General treatment: treatment of the cause, avoidance of allergic food, avoidance of re-stimulation, treatment of systemic diseases such as intestinal parasites, constipation, psychoneurological abnormalities, etc. 2. Systemic medication: such as intravenous injection of 10% calcium gluconate or 5% calcium bromide, 10ml each time, once a day. Before going to bed, take 10-15ml of 10% chloral hydrate or 1g of potassium bromide, which can also help to stop itching. You can also take Benadryl hydrochloride, chlorpheniramine, etc. 3. Local treatment: In the acute stage, zinc oxide ointment of boric acid can be used topically. In the chronic period, Hassinaide cream, 5% furfuryl distillate ointment, coal tar ointment, 5% resorcinol salicylate ointment can be used externally.
