Myopia, amblyopia, special glasses for children – many ways to protect children’s vision

Myopia, amblyopia and strabismus are all common eye diseases in children. Pediatric ophthalmologists treat these conditions with the help of a variety of nearsightedness devices, amblyopia devices and children’s eyeglasses. Each of these products has its own characteristics, and it is important for parents to understand how to choose the right treatment device or glasses for their child’s condition.       The most effective treatment for amblyopia is brain imaging amblyopia training, which requires computerized Internet training, also known as cyber training. The results of the child’s visual information examination are used to develop the appropriate training content, and the web-based stimulation treatment template varies for children with different levels of amblyopia. This method is highly interesting and the training content is adjusted as the child’s vision improves, avoiding the tedium of long-term training and currently having good clinical results. If there is no convenient Internet access, you can choose various amblyopia treatment instruments, whose main functions are red light flash, Hedinger light brush, visual physiological stimulation therapy (grating), posterior image visual enhancement therapy, home fine work, sensitivity training, synoptic vision training, fusion vision training, stereo vision training, etc. The treatment instruments with single function are: YS-II (AE type) amblyopia treatment instrument, YS-II (AC type) amblyopia training instrument, SZS manual 35 type (light brush), SZS computer 19 type, SZS computer 28 type, visual physiology rehabilitation instrument, 3D stereo amblyopia compound treatment instrument. The comprehensive treatment instrument can do multiple visual function training, and our hospital uses two brands of comprehensive treatment instruments: Vision Plus and Dr. Eye. The monocular device is used for children with monocular amblyopia and the binocular device is used for children with binocular amblyopia, which can train simultaneous vision and stereo vision. The brush type is suitable for children with non-macular amblyopia who have poor vision and is more expensive. In addition to the amblyopia treatment device, there is also the option of the Enhanced Vision Disc for training visual spikes, visual refinement, simultaneous vision, fusion function and stereopsis. For younger children who do not know how to use the device, fine visual checker training is available.       Myopia therapy devices are mainly used to relieve visual fatigue and prevent the occurrence and development of myopia by relaxing the ciliary muscle, reducing regulation, and local physical therapy. For example, the Shu Eye Mirror, myopia automatic distalization mirror, myopia sensitivity coordinator, adjustment training reversal beat, resonance defocus mirror, defocus anti-myopia writing board, defocus mirror.       We also have some specially designed lenses for myopia, hyperopia and strabismus. Glasses that control the development of myopia and improve the quality of vision through more advanced correction techniques include progressive multifocal lenses, keratoplasty lenses, and RGP corneal rigid contact lenses. Membrane-pressed spherical lenses, designed for high myopia and high hyperopia, make thick glasses significantly thinner. There are also membrane-pressed trigeminal lenses that help correct strabismus in children with special strabismus.
