Within one month, avoid strenuous exercise on the liposuction area, especially on the lower limbs, and try to avoid walking and standing for a long time, and try to elevate the lower limbs when possible to help reduce swelling. Avoid bending and sitting in the abdominal liposuction position, and try to straighten the abdominal skin when sitting to avoid wrinkling. Avoid frequent flexion and extension of the elbow joint to prevent fluid accumulation. After removal of the dressing, the patient can take a bath. After bathing, the aspiration needle eye should be re-sterilized and bandaged, and rubbing of the aspiration area should be avoided during bathing. After the surgery, the liposuction area may become hard, slightly uneven, darker and numb, etc. These are normal phenomena and usually recover in about 3 months. Drink more water after surgery to facilitate the detoxification of the anesthetic. In terms of diet, avoid spicy, hairy food, seafood, smoking and alcohol for 1 month. Avoid sunlight exposure for 4-6 weeks after surgery, as sunlight can delay wound healing and recovery of normal pigmentation.
