Ascending aortic aneurysm is a benign disease and does not affect the patient’s life expectancy; the cause of death may be rupture of the aneurysm with bleeding. Only malignant diseases can affect the survival of patients, while ascending aortic aneurysm is a benign disease, usually does not affect the life expectancy of patients, only need to be reviewed regularly. However, when the aneurysm ruptures acutely and bleeds, it may cause the patient to die. If this symptom occurs, the patient should be sent to the hospital in time to avoid delaying the condition and causing life-threatening injuries. Small aneurysms generally only need regular checkups, but if the indications for surgery are met, surgery is required, such as aortic aneurysms of more than 5cm need to be surgically stripped.
