Physiological entropion is usually more common, there is no family history, the child has a normal diet, is in good health, the age of onset is usually before 2 years of age and the child is of normal height, both lower limbs are symmetrical and the degree of entropion is mild.
Pathological inversion of the knee is less common and is more common in families with other skeletal and muscular disorders and is progressive, with a shorter height, asymmetry of the lower limbs and more pronation.
