Breast augmentation indications and pre-surgical preparation details

Pre-operative preparation for breast augmentation surgery: 1, comprehensive physical examination and laboratory tests, no serious medical diseases and local infection foci.  2, one month before surgery should stop taking contraceptives, estrogen and other drugs, aspirin and other drugs that are likely to cause trauma bleeding.  3.The menstrual cycle should be avoided at the time of surgery.  4, according to the patient’s own conditions and requirements to decide the type and size of breast implants; implant matrix is generally 10-12 cm, volume 175-350 ml. after full communication with the patient to decide the level of surgical incision and implantation of the implant. The incision can be chosen from: (1) axillary incision: (2) inframammary fold incision; (3) periareolar incision; the implant can be placed behind the pectoralis major muscle or mammary gland.
