Alcoholic cirrhosis cannot be completely cured. Alcoholic cirrhosis also appears pathologically with changes of cirrhosis, liver fibrosis, regenerative nodules and pseudobullet formation, which have already appeared pathological changes, it is difficult to reverse and achieve clinical cure. If alcoholic cirrhosis is in the compensated stage, liver function is still acceptable, and if treatment is given by abstaining from alcohol, the lesions can generally tend to be quiescent, the cirrhosis progresses slowly, and it can be prevented from developing decompensated cirrhosis, and the prognosis is generally good. Therefore, symptomatic treatment should be given for decompensated cirrhosis, and liver transplantation is a possible treatment for advanced cirrhosis.
