How to treat eosinophilic bronchitis

Eosinophilic bronchitis is treated primarily with glucocorticoids.
Patients with eosinophilic granulomatous bronchitis can achieve good results with the use of glucocorticoids. Beclomethasone propionate or equivalent doses of other inhaled glucocorticoids are commonly used for more than 4 weeks. Oral prednisone may be used in combination with initial therapy.
Patients with eosinophilic bronchitis have normal pulmonary ventilation and peak expiratory flow rate variability and negative bronchial provocation tests, so bronchodilators are ineffective in their treatment and should not be used.
Patients with eosinophilic bronchitis should go to the hospital, carry out auxiliary examinations to determine the diagnosis, and use medication under the guidance of the doctor, not self-medication.
