Is it good to remove hair with a laser?

In the past, laser hair removal observation of hair follicles could only be understood through histopathology, with VHF ultrasound, the dynamic changes of hair follicles after laser hair removal can be detected non-invasively. With the development and improvement of ultrasound instruments and imaging technology, the probe frequency up to 50MHz, this type of ultrasound is called very high frequency ultrasound. VHF ultrasound has an ultrasound amplification imaging effect, which can be used for skin thickness measurement, skin acoustic imaging research, and skin disease diagnosis. In this study, 5 volunteers were selected for calf hair removal using a 755nm laser with an energy of 22J/cm2 and a pulse width of 40ms. 50MHz VHF ultrasound was used for observation, and the treatment was observed once every 1-2 months for a continuous period of 6 months. Hair follicles in the vertical section of the skin can be seen by ultrasound, and after 755nm laser treatment, the hair follicles become smaller in the middle of the treatment and disappear in the late stage. At the same time, ultrasound found that the dermal echogenic brightness of the skin increased after laser treatment, the density of collagen fibers increased, and the laser has a rejuvenating function. The clinical observation of laser hair removal by VHF ultrasound confirms that laser hair removal is safe and effective. VHF ultrasound as a non-invasive and rapid examination method will have a broad application future in the diagnosis and treatment of skin diseases. 1. Clinical photo before treatment, the hair is dense and long. Ultrasound photo after 2 treatments in 3 months, hair follicle is gradually getting smaller, the diameter of hair follicle is minimum 0.38mm, the diameter of hair follicle is maximum 0.46mm, and the brightness of dermal echo is brighter. 3.After 6 months and 4 times of treatment clinical photo After 6 months and 4 times of treatment ultrasound photo, the hair disappears, the skin becomes smooth and tender, ultrasound found that the hair follicle gradually disappeared, the minimum diameter of 0.2mm. the dermal echo brightness of the skin after laser treatment increases, the density of collagen fibers increases!
