Are connective tissue external haemorrhoids serious?

Connective tissue external haemorrhoids rarely present with symptoms such as pain or bleeding, and patients mainly feel perianal discomfort, foreign body sensation and occasional itching. However, when inflammation occurs in a patient’s external haemorrhoid, painful symptoms can occur, causing the patient to be restless and affecting their daily life and work. Complications of this condition are rare, and a few patients may have perianal eczema as a complication.
