Bromocriptine (i.e. bromocriptine mesylate tablets) for menstrual disorders can be taken orally at 1.25mg/dose, increasing to 2.5mg/dose if necessary, all 2 to 3 times/day until menstruation returns to normal. Bromocriptine Mesylate Tablets can inhibit the secretion of prolactin and restore normal menstrual cycle, which is suitable for a variety of diseases such as prolactin-dependent menstrual cycle disorders, infertility accompanied by high or normal prolactinemia, amenorrhea with or without lactation, hypomenorrhea, luteal insufficiency, and part of the drug-induced hyperprolactinemia. The drug is often available in a size of 2.5 mg/tablet and is used for irregular menstrual cycles by taking 1.25 mg orally at one time, two to three times a day, as needed, and the dose can be increased to 2.5 mg at one time, two to three times a day, if necessary, all taken orally at mealtimes. Treatment should be continued until ovulation resumes and the menstrual cycle returns to normal, if necessary for several cycles to prevent relapse.
