Can sweaty hands be cured?

The prognosis of hand sweating varies depending on the etiology. For hand sweating due to primary hyperhidrosis, the symptoms can be controlled or reduced by medication. Laparoscopic thoracic sympathectomy is the only effective minimally invasive method for treating hand sweating. Moderate (wetting a handkerchief when sweating and severe (dripping beads on the palm when sweating) hand sweating that has been clearly diagnosed is an indication for surgery, while mild cases do not need to be considered for surgery.
For secondary hyperhidrosis, control and cure may be obtained by controlling or even curing the primary disease.
