Is it possible to be nearsighted without glasses?

Wearing glasses is to improve vision and see distant objects clearly. Teenagers suffer from myopia and cannot read the words on the blackboard in class, which inevitably affects learning, so they need to wear glasses. Some of them are suffering from pseudomyopia, which is caused by the tension of the eye muscles, and there are many ways to relax the adjustment and restore the vision. If you wear glasses, the tension in the regulation can not relax, and over time, it will become real, from false to real. In true myopia there is also a component of pseudomyopia, which can also be treated so that the component of pseudomyopia disappears and the myopia that remains, reading is very shallow and does not interfere with classroom learning. It can also be done without glasses. But if it interferes with classroom learning, glasses are required. So, to wear glasses or not, you must check clearly if you have pseudomyopia. If the myopia disappears or decreases and the vision recovers or improves, it means there is pseudomyopia. Therefore, when parents see that their children’s vision is not good, do not risk going to the optician to get glasses, they are optometrists, but do not understand the situation of children’s eyes, unless the myopia is high, it is difficult to identify whether it is pseudomyopia or true myopia. If a child has true myopia, he or she will need glasses or treatment regardless of refractive error, as long as it affects classroom learning. Is it okay to not wear them? No, because without glasses they tend to squint at the words on the blackboard. Doing so inevitably increases the burden of unnecessary accommodation in the eye. Because squinting uses the contraction of the orbicularis oculi muscle, his force acting on the eyeball can increase intraocular pressure and contribute to the deepening of myopic refraction.
