What is the pain in the corner of the eye when pressed?

The corner of the eye pain depends on the specific location and the intensity of the pain to determine what is wrong. If it is just a slightly uncomfortable feeling that occasionally lasts for a short period of time, it may be caused by prolonged eye use, poor eye rest, and excessive eye fatigue, which will be relieved automatically by simply relaxing the eye and resting more. If the pain is severe and accompanied by redness and swelling, then it is important to consider whether it is due to inflammation or infection, and there are several diseases: 1. Blepharitis: chronic inflammation of the skin, follicles and glands at the edge of the eyelid, caused by bacteria, seborrheic dermatitis or visual fatigue, and often combined. 2. 2. Conjunctivitis: an inflammatory reaction of the conjunctival tissues due to external and the body’s own factors, bacterial, viral, chlamydial, fungal, etc. This is an acute purulent inflammation of the sebaceous gland or lid gland near the eyelash follicle. The bacteria that cause mydriasis are mostly Staphylococcus aureus, which manifests as limited redness, swelling, heat and pain in the eyelid skin and edema in the adjacent bulbar conjunctiva. Therefore, the etiology of corneal pain is varied.
