Fainting from cervical spondylosis

Cervical spondylosis does not cause fainting symptoms, but fainting is most likely caused by high blood pressure, infarction in the head or cerebral hemorrhage. If the patient’s blood pressure is too high, the patient can be given oral captopril to lower the blood pressure, and the patient can be taken to the local hospital for a head CT examination to clarify the patient’s status, and in case of infarction, thrombolytic drugs can be used in a timely manner to thrombolize and prevent bleeding in the brain. In case of cerebral hemorrhage, appropriate hemostatic drugs or interventional therapy should be used to embolize the blood vessels to avoid further expansion of the hemorrhage, and appropriate cranial pressure should be lowered to avoid the formation of cerebral hernia with high cranial pressure, which may endanger the patient’s life.
