What to do if you have warts on your eyelids

If warts appear on the eyelid, the most common case is filiform warts. Filiform warts are a type of common wart, but they are called filiform warts because they occur in a more elongated form. They are not difficult to treat, but if they occur on the eyelid, special care needs to be taken because if they are not done properly, they can cause damage to the eye itself. When warts appear on the eyelid, the first treatment is physical therapy, such as laser, freezing, electrocautery, or direct scraping. Sometimes if the patient has warts close to the eyelid, or some distance from the eye, topical medications can be applied to treat them, but the patient must not do this at home.
