Formulation and specification: Injection: 50mg (10ml)/bottle
Indications: Combined with radiotherapy for the treatment of stage III-IV nasopharyngeal carcinoma with positive expression of EGFR gene.
Key points for rational drug use:
1. The first dose should be given on the first day of radiation therapy and completed before the start of radiation therapy. Thereafter, the drug is given once a week for 8 weeks while the patient receives standard radiation therapy.
2. Common skin reactions and diarrhea must be noted during dosing.
3. The safety and efficacy of this product in children under 18 years of age have not been established.
4. EGFR expression levels should be tested by dedicated personnel skilled in EGFR testing techniques.
5. Most of the antibody activity will be lost after freezing and thawing of nitrozumab, so freezing is strictly prohibited during storage.
6. The physical and chemical stability of the solution prepared with nitrozumab can be maintained for 12 hours at 2~8℃ and 8 hours at room temperature in the infusion container. It is not suitable for further use if the storage time exceeds the above time.
7. It should be used with caution in pregnant women or women who do not use effective contraception. This product belongs to the IgG1 class of antibodies. Since human IgG1 is capable of being secreted into breast milk, lactating women are advised to discontinue breastfeeding during treatment with this product and for 60 days after the last dose.
