Since working in orthopedics, I have dealt with many parents of children many times. Nowadays, families have a 4-2-1 model, grandparents, parents, and children, and there are usually at least three of them. Before they came, both the mother and father looked up a lot of information on the Internet and finally chose our department for treatment; they were well prepared and wanted to know and understand a lot of questions before they came, so we usually communicate with the families very patiently and clearly, from pictures to books. Every time I communicate with the family, I actually review the surgery all over again. The parents of each child would at least communicate for more than four or five hours, in the process of communicating with these families. It was found that the mothers of the affected children were very anxious, and many of them thought it was their fault, and they could even feel some fast choking sometimes. In fact, this is unnecessary, excessive tension is at least to their own detriment, but also to the detriment of the child. It is also not good for the health care professionals to operate. Nowadays, the environment is not very good, congenital deformities are also related to environmental factors, and genetics also have a certain relationship, so do not blame yourself and anxiety too much. It happens, as long as you take the child to find the best doctor you can find to operate on it.
