Treatment of lung nodules is based on their malignancy and cause. For benign lung nodules with a clear cause, treatment should be tailored to the cause, e.g. anti-tuberculosis drugs for tuberculosis and antifungal treatment for fungal infections; for malignant lung nodules, surgical excision should be considered.
