The treatment of lung nodules is based on their malignancy and cause. It is impossible to say exactly which treatment is best.
For benign lung nodules with a clear cause, treatment should be tailored to the cause, such as anti-tuberculosis drugs for tuberculosis and antifungal treatment for fungal infections; for malignant lung nodules, surgical removal should be considered, or radiofrequency therapy or radiotherapy if the nodule cannot tolerate surgery or if the malignant nodule has metastasised; for those who are unable to define the nature of the lung nodule and can be observed in the doctor’s judgment, they should be followed up.
