What are the diagnostic criteria for a stiff neck?

Neck stiffness refers to pain in the neck, shoulder and occipital area with corresponding pressure points and neck stiffness, which are clinical features of cervical cervical spondylosis. Cervical cervical spondylosis is extremely common in clinical practice, and is the earliest form of cervical spondylosis and the common early manifestation of all other types of cervical spondylosis. The symptoms are mainly in the neck, so it is also called the localized type. Because the symptoms are light, often do not pay enough attention to the disease, resulting in repeated attacks and aggravation of the disease, many patients who repeatedly fall into the pillow belong to this type. Diagnostic criteria: 1. Age of onset: Young adults are the most common, but for those with a large sagittal diameter of the spinal canal, the first onset can occur after the age of 45. 2, the onset of time: in addition to the morning when more common (with a high pillow or improper sleep posture), but also often seen after a long period of low work or study, indicating a direct correlation with the pressure rise in the intervertebral disc space. 3, placement is good, about half of the patients have limited neck movement or take forced position, individual cases may have transient sensory abnormalities in the upper limbs. 4.Examination: the neck is mostly in “military upright position”, that is, the neck is straight, the physiological curvature is reduced or disappeared, and there may be pressure pain between the spinous process and the spinous process of the affected node, which is generally mild. 5.The main reason is to exclude neck sprain, shoulder periarthritis, rheumatic myofibrositis, neurasthenia and other neck and shoulder pain not caused by cervical disc degeneration.       6, imaging changes: X-ray film shows cervical curvature changes, cervical lateral power film can show intervertebral joint instability, loosening and trapezoidal changes (earlier than the magnetic resonance examination); MRI film shows intervertebral disc degeneration or posterior protrusion sign.
