What drugs to take for bronchiectasis

Patients with bronchiectasis are mainly caused by infection, strain or congenital factors in the bronchial tubes. Depending on the severity of bronchiectasis, cough, pus and hemoptysis may occur. For patients with bronchiectasis, medication is the main treatment. It is very important to keep the airway open for patients with bronchiectasis. It is recommended to take drugs such as bromhexine hydrochloride tablets to help the body’s cilia to swing and make the sticky sputum thinner and facilitate coughing out. It can also be combined with postural drainage and nebulized inhalation to help cough up the sputum. For more serious patients, epinephrine drops are recommended to eliminate the symptoms of mucosal edema, reduce obstruction, and facilitate the expulsion of sputum. For patients with bronchiectasis, active infection control is also very important. Patients with milder conditions can take oral cephalosporin, azithromycin, ciprofloxacin and other drugs, while patients with more severe conditions can use intravenous drugs. For patients with chronic bronchiectasis, long-term anti-infective medication is recommended. Patients with bronchial dilatation are recommended to treat themselves with long-term medication to control the infection, and if the condition is serious, they should go to the respiratory medicine department of the hospital in time.
