Post-operative precautions for children with facial trauma

  1.The wound dressing can be opened after 2 days of covering, and the incision is kept dry.  2.The stitches can be removed after 6 to 7 days after facial surgery, and the stitches can be washed normally 2 days after removal.  3.Postoperative scar removal drugs can be used 1 week after the removal of stitches.  4.You can wear a hat to avoid sunlight exposure within 6 months after surgery to reduce pigmentation.  5.You should avoid eating spicy and stimulating food and seafood within six months after surgery to avoid scar growth.  6.It is normal for the surgical scars to be hyperplastic within six months after surgery, which will gradually subside and flatten later.
