Introduction to coronary stents

Stent materials: stainless steel stents, nickel, titanium, tantalum or cobalt-chromium alloy stents, etc. 2, stent types from the patient’s point of view: (1) According to the coating, there are ordinary bare stents and drug stents Bare stents are stents without drug coating, and the early applications are such stents. Advantages: the time of taking dual antiplatelet drugs after stenting is short. Disadvantage: higher incidence of restenosis (reocclusion). Drug stents have drugs on the surface of the stent, which are released within a certain period of time after the stent is placed in the body, preventing the overproliferative reaction of the blood vessel caused by the damage caused by the stent placement, and greatly reducing the occurrence of restenosis after stent placement. However, the postoperative requirement of duplex antiplatelet drugs is long, mostly in 1 year. (2) According to the origin, there are domestic and imported stents. The stents were produced and applied in foreign countries in the early days, which have been applied for a long time and have more data of clinical trials. At present, cypher, taxue, endeavour, xience V, coroflex, etc. are applied in our hospital. Domestic stents have been developed rapidly in recent years, applied in the clinical time is shorter than some foreign stents, and the clinical trial data is relatively less. However, the experimental results are also good. The ones applied in our hospital are firebird, partner, excel and so on. (3) Selection of stent At present, most domestic drug stents are used, and bare stents are mostly used only when the lesion is rich in thrombus, the diameter of the vessel is relatively large, and the dual anti-platelet drugs cannot be applied for a long time due to the need for surgery in the short term. As for the price difference between domestic and imported stents, the difference is about 10,000, the imported stents are about 20,000, and most of the domestic stents are about 12,000. I suggest to communicate more with the surgeon when choosing stents so that the operator can choose within the possible economic range. Since there are many types of stents, different stents have different performance and need to be selected according to the lesion and other conditions.
