What is cervical spondylosis?

Cervical spondylosis refers broadly to the clinical symptoms (the patient’s self-perception, which is subjective) and signs (the objective information obtained by the physician through physical examination) that are manifested after cervical spondylosis. The current international consensus is that cervical degeneration of the intervertebral discs and subsequent degeneration of the intervertebral joints leads to damage to the spinal cord, nerves, and blood vessels and the corresponding clinical manifestations (signs and symptoms). Some people believe that cervical spine pain or discomfort is cervical spondylosis, but this is inaccurate.
