Can an abdominal tumour be felt by hand?

All but a few abdominal wall tumours are superficially located, such as fibroids, which present as abnormal abdominal wall neoplasms or abdominal wall masses that can be palpated by hand.
The vast majority, including liver tumours, biliary tumours, pancreatic tumours, gastrointestinal tract tumours, kidney tumours and ovarian tumours, are located in the abdomen and are difficult to palpate by hand, but they can be palpated when they grow very large. Diagnosis also requires the use of ultrasound, X-ray, CT, MRI, endoscopy and other examinations to clarify the location, size, nature and relationship with the surrounding organs.
