It is generally difficult to treat internal hemorrhoids by tapping, but stimulation of acupoints may be helpful in relieving symptoms of prolapse, blood in the stool, and swelling and pain, such as Chengshan, Changqiang, Erbai, Huiyang, and Jiyao.
1. Chengshan acupoint is located on the back side of the calf, at the intersection of the two gastrocnemius muscle bellies and tendons. It can treat constipation, hemorrhoids and prolapse.
2. Changqiang is located at the midpoint of the line connecting the end of the tailbone and the anus, and can treat diarrhea, constipation, hemorrhoids, prolapse and other diseases.
3. Erbai acupoint is located 4 inches above the transverse carpal stripe, on both sides of the radial carpal flexor tendon. It can treat hemorrhoids and prolapse of the anus, and is an empirical point for treating hemorrhoids.
4. Huiyang Point is located in the sacral region, 0.5 inches away from the end of the tailbone. It can treat diarrhea and hemorrhoids.
5. The point of Jiyao is in the sacral region, just below the inner part of the upper posterior sacral spine, flat against the 2nd posterior sacral foramen. It can clear heat from the large intestine, reduce swelling and relieve pain (eliminating swelling and pain).
If the symptoms of internal hemorrhoids are alleviated after tapping the above acupoints, you can continue to tap them and combine them with other treatments; if there is no effect, you should seek medical advice. Tapping points need to be directed by a doctor.
