Prevention and treatment of trichomoniasis and dietary contraindications

  Trichomonas vaginalis is a very common sexually transmitted disease (STD) that is found worldwide and affects both men and women. Trichomoniasis is a general term for diseases caused by Trichomonas vaginalis, Trichomonas humana and Trichomonas oralis, which are parasitic in the human genitourinary tract, intestinal tract and oral cavity, respectively.  Trichomonas vaginalis is an anaerobic parasite that is pear-shaped and about 2-3 times the size of a multinucleated white blood cell. It can grow and reproduce at 25-40°C, survive for 2 hours at 3-5°C, 20-60 minutes at 46°C, and 10 hours in a semi-dry environment. Therefore, Trichomonas is easily spread even after it is separated from human body.  Trichomonas is suitable for reproduction in pH 5.5-6, and its growth is inhibited when pH is below 5 or above 7.5. Trichomonas is hemophilic and alkaline resistant, so when the vaginal pH rises after menstruation, it is conducive to the reproduction of Trichomonas vaginalis.  How is trichomoniasis transmitted?  Trichomoniasis is mainly transmitted directly through sexual intercourse, but also indirectly through bathrooms, toilets, swimming pools, underwear and various sanitary devices.  What are the clinical signs of trichomoniasis?  The incubation period is usually unclear, and most of them can show symptoms after 4 to 7 days.  1. Trichomoniasis in women: mainly increased thin foamy leucorrhea and vulvar itching, which may be accompanied by burning sensation, pain and painful intercourse, such as frequent urination, urgent urination, painful urination or hematuria when accompanied by urethral infection. About 9-56% of patients may have no symptoms. Signs: Gynecological examination reveals obvious congestion of vaginal mucosa and cervicovaginal area with bleeding spots, and a large amount of leucorrhea in the vagina in the form of yellowish white, grayish yellow thin foamy liquid or yellowish green purulent discharge.  2, male trichomonas infection: male patients with mild performance, may have varying degrees of urethral itching and discomfort, aggravated when urinating, may have difficulty urinating, urethral flushing and yellow-white purulent discharge outflow, serious cases of posterior urethritis, cystitis.  3, asymptomatic carriers: Most people do not show clinical symptoms after infection with this worm, called asymptomatic carriers. This type of carrier is both a source of infection and can develop when conditions are right.  How should trichomoniasis be treated?  It is often accompanied by trichomonas infection in the genitourinary system and intestines.  1. 2g of metronidazole should be taken in a single dose; or 400mg 3 times a day for 7-14 days. Oral absorption is good, high efficacy, low toxicity, easy to apply. Tinidazole 2g can also be applied, taken in a single dose, with better efficacy than metronidazole and reduced side effects in the gastrointestinal tract. Topical application is also effective, but slightly worse than oral application.  2. External use: Tinidazole vaginal effervescent tablets 200mg, put into the vagina once a night for 7-14 days. Or metronidazole vaginal gel, 2 times a day, 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening, for 7-14 days. The medication should be used for 3 consecutive menstrual cycles.  What are the precautions for Trichomonas vaginalis?  Sexual intercourse or condom use is prohibited during treatment. Wash your vulva daily, change your underwear, underwear and towels should be boiled and disinfected or soaked with disinfectant to destroy pathogens and avoid repeated infections. Alcohol should be prohibited while taking medication, and husbands or sexual partners should be treated at the same time. In case of recurrence, after a single cure, local vaginal medication should be administered one to two times after each menstrual period for three months to consolidate the effect.  What are the dietary contraindications for trichomoniasis?  Suitable foods: japonica rice, winter melon, wheat, sorghum rice.  1.The way to eat: it is advisable to be light and less oily; it is advisable to drink more water and eat more vegetables.  2, it is advisable to eat more foods rich in vitamin B: for example, wheat, sorghum, gravy, honey, tofu, chicken, leek, milk, etc.; it is advisable to eat more fruits and fresh vegetables.  3.It is advisable to choose foods with certain antibacterial effect, such as garlic, onion, horsetail, fishy grass, marjoram, chrysanthemum, etc.  Avoid food: shrimp, sea shrimp, sea crab, crab, dried shellfish.  1, avoid spicy food: spicy food is easy to eat dry heat, so that the internal organs of heat and toxicity contained in the front and back of the itchy pain and other symptoms, they can help fire inflammation, aggravate the symptoms.  2, avoid seafood hair: shrimp, crab, shellfish and other seafood will aggravate itching. The fishy products such as fish, shrimp, crab and so on will encourage damp heat, after eating can make the vulva itching aggravated, not conducive to the inflammation of the subside, so should avoid eating.  3, avoid sweet and greasy food: greasy food such as lard, cream, butter, high sugar food such as chocolate, sweet snacks, etc., these foods help wet heat, will increase the secretion of leucorrhea, and affect the treatment effect. Dry and hot products, such as lamb, are not eaten. Avoid fatty, sweet, thick and greasy, fried and spicy food, such as chili, ginger, onion, garlic, seafood, beef, etc. Avoid tonic.  4, avoid tobacco and alcohol: This is due to the nicotine in tobacco can make the arterial blood and oxygen binding force is weakened, wine can help to grow damp heat, so when taboo, the same, containing wine diet such as wine, wine, etc. should not drink.  Food therapy formula: 1, acacia 9g, 20g of winter melon, barley 30g, 60g of japonica rice, first of all, winter melon, acacia flowers together with water decoction, and then remove the slag to take the juice, and then add japonica rice, barley together into a porridge can be, once a day, five days for a course of treatment. It is mainly suitable for patients with trichomoniasis who are suffering from spleen deficiency and dampness.  2. 20g of white fruit, 30g of cocklebur, 20g of golden cherry and 20g of rock sugar.
