Knee sports injuries

Patient: 20 days ago, I felt discomfort in both knees after exercising, and 15 days ago, I felt pain in both knees when going up and down stairs and squatting after an intense hike. The doctor at the local hospital thought it was a strain injury caused by excessive exercise, so I took glucosamine hydrochloride and rested, but now I still feel pain when going up and down stairs and squatting, and I usually feel discomfort in the knee joint, with vague pain on the front side. I would like to ask if the diagnosis is chondromalacia patella and how to further treat it, and if I can still participate in outdoor hiking in the future, as I like to participate in outdoor activities. The actual situation can only be determined by the doctor’s physical examination, because I° and II° patellar chondromalacia (or early lesions) cannot be seen even by MRI, so it is recommended that you go to a regular hospital and ask the doctor for a physical examination. If the diagnosis is confirmed, the treatment firstly requires adequate rest, at least a month above strenuous exercise such as mountain climbing, secondly, oral medication generally takes about a month and a half, if you are in a hurry you can go to the hospital intra-articular injection of sodium vitrate, with oral medication effect is also good.
