Loose teeth can be repaired

In 2003, the Ministry of Health of the People’s Republic of China, in accordance with the World Health Organization’s “Criteria for Disease Risk Assessment”, identified periodontal disease as a “major disease of serious concern to human health” in China. In 2003, the Ministry of Health identified periodontal disease as a “major disease that poses a serious risk to human health” in China. Chronic periodontitis is a disease that occurs around the roots of the teeth, and if not effectively prevented and treated in a timely manner, it can cause loosening and loss of teeth, and can aggravate or induce serious systemic diseases such as coronary heart disease and diabetes in the long run. Surveys have shown that patients with chronic periodontitis have a 25% higher risk of developing coronary heart disease than those without this disease. Periodontal disease often shows symptoms such as bleeding gums when brushing, bad breath, formation of calculus, and red and swollen gums in its early stages, which often do not attract attention. When the inflammation develops to a deeper level, that is, when it develops into chronic periodontitis, it will directly destroy the periodontal membrane and alveolar bone, resulting in the reduction and loss of tooth supporting tissues, eventually causing gum recession, widening of gaps, elongation of teeth, loosening of teeth, weakness in chewing and even loss of teeth. Or as a last resort, the tooth can only be extracted. The treatment of periodontal disease is extremely delicate and complex, and should be developed by a periodontist according to the condition of the patient, oral hygiene guidance, periodontal cleaning, root scraping, occlusal adjustment, loose teeth fixed and other basic treatment, and then decide whether to systemic medication, periodontal surgery and dental and endodontic treatment according to the condition. We must be cautious about the extraction of loose teeth. Most loose teeth can be stopped from deteriorating after systematic and reasonable treatment, so that the teeth can be stabilized and the regeneration of alveolar bone can be guided to bring the loose teeth back to work.
