Can penicillin allergy be inherited?

It is generally believed that penicillin allergy is not hereditary. Penicillin allergy is related to one’s own constitution, and is not considered to be related to heredity. Most of the reasons why penicillin causes allergy are due to the poor immunity of oneself, belonging to allergic constitution and other reasons. When using penicillin, a skin test for penicillin must be done, and even if the skin test is negative, a slow sedative drip should be given during the use of penicillin to observe whether the patient will have some delayed allergic reaction. In conclusion, penicillin allergy will not be passed on to the next generation. If the next generation develops penicillin allergy, it is mostly considered to be caused by the child’s own immunity or poor resistance, which is itself an allergic constitution.
