What are the conditions that prevent penicillin skin testing?

Penicillin skin testing is contraindicated in: people who have had a rapid allergic reaction within the last 4 weeks; people at high risk of anaphylaxis such as poorly controlled asthma or severe allergic reactions; people with a history of severe allergic reactions to small doses of allergens; and patients with skin conditions (e.g. skin scarring, cutaneous mastocytosis, acute and chronic urticaria, etc.).
