Physiological uterine enlargement is usually not abnormal and pregnant patients may show menopause.
In pathological uterine enlargement, patients are often accompanied by menstrual disorders, increased menstrual flow, prolonged periods, anaemia, abdominal pain, frequent urination, etc. Individual primary diseases may also present their characteristic manifestations, for example, adenomyosis may have progressive dysmenorrhoea; endometrial cancer may present with vaginal drainage and post-menopausal vaginal bleeding.
