Normally, the uterus is about 7-8 cm long, 4-5 cm wide, 2-3 cm thick and has a volume of about 5 ml, but under the influence of physiological or pathological factors, the uterus can become larger and the muscular layer thickened, resulting in an enlarged uterus. Sometimes it may also be accompanied by irregular bleeding from the uterus, abdominal pain, anaemia and other abnormalities.
