Does hyperglycemia induce recurrence of acute pancreatitis?

Patient: The patient is a 48-year-old female with a history of acute pancreatitis with one recurrence and usually high blood glucose. This time the acute pancreatitis recurred again.
She had two episodes of acute pancreatitis (once the year before and once the year before and both in June and July) and recovered after hospital treatment. The patient’s blood sugar and blood pressure have been high, may I ask if this has anything to do with the recurrence of pancreatitis? 1, high blood sugar may not directly lead to pancreatitis 2, blood sugar and blood pressure has been high, often accompanied by high blood pressure, this group of syndrome, called metabolic syndrome. High blood pressure is often the culprit that causes pancreatitis! 3, pancreatitis can lead to hyperglycemia
