Calcium and zinc together for a healthier child

  Calcium and zinc are both essential nutrients that are vital to the growth and intellectual development of children. There are two main methods of calcium and zinc supplementation in the market, one is calcium and zinc supplementation, and the other is calcium and zinc supplementation separately. A study by experts such as AAMcKenna looked at whether calcium has an effect on the metabolism and absorption of zinc. The experiment was conducted on 26 adolescent females. The test group took a high daily calcium intake of 1722 mg and a low zinc intake of 6.3 mg, and the control group took a normal calcium intake of 722 mg and a low zinc intake of 6.3 mg. RESULTS: There was no change in the absorption of zinc in either group, indicating that there was no effect of calcium on zinc absorption when normal and high doses of calcium and low doses of zinc were taken together.
