Premature beats are divided into several categories, atrial premature beats, junctional premature beats, and ventricular premature beats, and there are different treatments depending on the type of premature beats. If the number of premature beats exceeds five beats per minute, it is a frequent premature beat. If there are atrial premature beats and junctional premature beats with palpitations and dizziness, treatment can be given. The most common drug treatments are beta-blockers, as well as amiodarone and heart stabilizing granules. If there are premature ventricular contractions, the cause of premature contractions should be investigated, whether it is caused by organic heart disease or functional. If it is caused by organic heart disease, such as coronary heart disease, hypertension, or hyperthyroidism, the primary cause should be treated. If the patient has symptoms of dizziness and palpitations, the patient can be treated with medication, such as beta-blockers and amiodarone, or radiofrequency ablation surgery.
