Fatty pimples, also known as milia, cannot be removed with aureomycin eye ointment. Fatty grains are small cystic changes located under the epidermis, due to keratinization of the follicular sebaceous gland ducts, the normal secretion of oil can not be discharged resulting in a white or yellow-white papule with a smooth surface. The eye ointment is an antibiotic with the effect of killing bacteria, and is mainly used clinically for the treatment of conjunctivitis and keratitis, etc. The fatty grains are not bacterial infections, and cannot be removed with the eye ointment. If the fatty pellet is secondary to bacterial infection, inflammation, pain, redness and swelling, use gentamycin eye ointment to inhibit the inflammation. Fatty grains are usually asymptomatic and do not require treatment, but they do affect aesthetics.
