  The side effects of amoxicillin capsules include gastrointestinal reactions such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and pseudomembranous enteritis; allergic reactions such as rash, drug fever and asthma; hematologic effects such as anemia, thrombocytopenia, eosinophilia, and mild increase in serum aminotransferase; secondary infections caused by Candida or resistant bacteria; occasional central nervous system symptoms such as euphoria, anxiety, sleep, dizziness and abnormal behavior.
