Daily diet for hepatomegaly
Principles.
1. Low copper and pro-copper excretion diet.
2. Increase the intake of high quality protein.
3. High vitamin diet.
4. Moderate intake of fat.
5, moderate intake of carbohydrates.
Food selection: On the basis of low copper, choose foods high in minerals such as zinc, calcium and molybdenum. Choose foods high in protein and vitamins, and fat intake varies from person to person. Be careful with fried, hard and coarse fiber foods.
1.Low copper diet
At present, it is advocated that the daily copper content in the diet of liver bean patients should not exceed 1 to 1.5mg.
Forbid foods with high copper content: such as animal offal and blood, various beans, nuts and mushrooms, shellfish, shrimp and crab, chocolate, coffee, egg yolk; keel, amusement clam, squid, squid, mussels, conch lion, whole scorpion, stiletto and other animal herbs.
Minimize the consumption of foods high in copper: such as beef, eggs, spinach, cilantro, mustard, eggplant, taro, green onions, brown rice, standard noodles and honey.
Low-copper foods suitable for daily consumption include: refined white rice, noodles, lean pork, lean chicken and duck, cabbage, radish, lotus root, kale, apples, peaches, milk, etc.
2.Foods with high content of zinc, manganese, molybdenum, protein and vitamins
The recommended daily content of zinc is 150mg (75mg daily for children weighing <50kg).
(1) Increase the intake of B-vitamin foods, such as green vegetables, kale, etc.
(2) Increase foods containing vitamin c, such as kumquats, fresh dates, strawberries, watermelon, etc.
(3) Increase foods with high content of vitamin A precursors to improve vision and protect respiratory mucosa. Choose yellow heart carrots, yellow fruits, milk, dairy products, and cod liver oil on the basis of low copper.
(4) Increase the intake of high quality protein, choose egg whites, quail eggs, milk, yogurt, carp, crucian carp, salmon, yellow croaker, scallops and other high quality proteins.
(3) Reduce the intake of fat.
4.Supplement calcium
Milk is the first choice of dietary calcium supplementation. Liver bean patients often have calcium and phosphorus metabolism disorders, coupled with long-term medication, should be given calcium-rich food. Also pay attention to vitamin D and magnesium supplementation.
